What do you wish you did?
I’m doing it. Living the Dream. Some day I’d like to run my own software and website development shop / brewpub but for now I’m learning form the best at Weblinc / National Mechanics.

Have you ever been to a BarCamp before? If so, which one(s)?
I went to BarCamp Philly last year and gave my flashy friends a hand last weekend at FlashCamp Philadelphia .

If you were to lead a session, what would it be about?
I’d like to lead a hands on workshop where we collectively develop and deploy a barcampphilly tweet stream app for the community to use.

I’m also thinking about doing a session on ColdFusion for web designers (I promise it will be easier than php)

Give us one interesting fact about yourself!
I provide technical and emotional support for our intrepid barcamp co-organizer @KelaniNichole on all her amazing endeavors

I also brew my own beer. I’ll be serving a smokey maple porter at beerCamp which I’m co-organzing.

I’m also a founding organizer of Philly NetSquared, which sponsors Net Tuesday, a monthly gathering of folks who resonate with the theme of using social tools for social change — from different perspectives: activists, techies, nonprofit staff, visionaries…

What do you wish you did?
I love my work, but I wish I had more time to pursue ideas that would take time and energy away from earning a living.

Have you ever been to a BarCamp before? If so, which one(s)?
Nope. First and long. (First time attendee, long time fan.)

If you were to lead a session, what would it be about?
I’d like to explore ways to help people choose the MOST APPROPRIATE communication tool or medium for each unique purpose.

Give us one interesting fact about yourself!
In a previous life as a Reference Librarian in the (pre-web) ’80’s, I created a social network at the Ridley Twp. Public Library where community members’ interests, passions and desires for connection were classified a la Dewey and interfiled into the card catalog (remember those?)
