I’m a communities reporter and hyperlocal blogger for a Gannett newspaper.

What do you wish you did?
I would like to explore creative writing fields as well.

No, there’s a first time for everything.

If you were to lead a session, what would it be about?
Hyperlocal Journalism – a session that would focus on engaging the community in the reporting process and focusing on a more local approach to the news gathering.

Give us one interesting fact about yourself!
The weirdest foods I’ve ever tried are cow intestine and llama.
